Job summary

Atlantic Partners Asia is hiring an experienced Payments & Treasury Operations Manager to lead a UK-facing Operations team based in Kuala Lumpur. You will oversee payment operations, liquidity management, cash positioning and treasury support activities while building a high-performing team.

Qualifications

8+ years in Payments/ Treasury/ Banking Operations or Financial Services.
Experience leading operational teams and managing cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of UK payment schemes: Faster Payments, CHAPS, SWIFT.
Liquidity management, cash forecasting and reconciliations experience.
Regulatory controls and risk management experience; ability to work in regulated environments.
Right to work in Malaysia; fluent English; Mandarin or other European languages a plus.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day Payments and Treasury Operations and ensure robust controls.
Manage liquidity positioning across multiple currencies and funding needs.
Lead investigations, settlements, and escalations; drive process improvements.
Produce reporting for senior leadership on operations and treasury metrics.
Develop and coach a high-performing operations team through mentoring and performance management.
