Job summary

GM Klang Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to handle inquiries, complaints and suggestions via phone, walk-in or email. You will manage the website directory and support form submissions for renovations and moves, delivering service with professionalism.

You will work five days per week with a weekday rest day, and must be proficient in Microsoft Office. English and Bahasa Malaysia are required, Mandarin is a plus, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and good presentation.

Qualifications

• Educational background: at least SPM and above.
• Experience: at least 1 year in related field; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Skills/Abilities: willing to work shift hours 5 days per week with a weekday rest day.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Open to learning new skills and gaining new experience.
• Good attitude, responsible, honest and a team player.
• Well-groomed in presentation and appearance, healthy.
• Languages: able to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist customer/tenant/owner/business operator for inquiries, complaints or suggestions.
• Serve as the first contact for customers via phone, walk-in and email.
• Manage/update website directory efficiently.
• Submit renovation/move in-out forms, prepare letters and notices.
• Carry out ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
• Conduct the job scope in a professional manner.
