Job summary

The Pullman Kuala Lumpur City Centre Hotel & Residences is seeking a Guest Service Assistant to represent the hotel throughout a guest's stay. You will assist guests with registration, assign rooms, handle payments, and coordinate with housekeeping to update room status.

You will greet guests, manage check-in/out procedures, perform cashiering tasks, and promote hotel services using suggestive selling, all while safeguarding cash and ensuring safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma holder in Hotel Management/ Marketing/ Business Administration or related disciplines.
• Minimum 1-year experience at Front Office.
• Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
• Well-groomed with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Patience and good listening skills.
• Service focused personality is essential; customer related experience an asset.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Has knowledge in Opera system.

Responsibilities

• Represent the hotel to guests throughout all stages of the stay.
• Determine a guest's reservation status and stay duration.
• Assist guests with registration and room assignment; accommodate special requests.
• Verify payment methods and follow credit-checking procedures.
• Coordinate room status updates with housekeeping and reservations.
• Perform cashiering tasks and process check-outs.
• Greet guests and learn their names; promote hotel services through suggestive selling.
