Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a friendly Front Officer for a 3-star hotel in Teluk Intan, Perak, with 88 rooms, a café and an event hall. You will welcome guests warmly, check them in/out, and ensure a smooth arrival experience for leisure, business and event guests.

You should have a Diploma in Hospitality or a related field, or equivalent; at least 1 year in front desk or customer service, basic computer skills, and willingness to rotate shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism is an advantage; or Other Field is acceptable.
• At least 1 year of Hotel Front Desk or Customer Services experience preferred.
• Fresh Graduates with a strong service attitude are Welcome.
• Willing to work rotating shifts.
• Presentable, well groomed, honest and customer focused.
• Basic computer skills; experience with hotel PMS or OTA extranets is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest check in and check out quickly and accurately.
• Manage room reservations from walk ins, phone, WhatsApp, email and OTAs.
• Process room payments and billing, and complete daily cash reconciliation.
• Respond to guest enquiries, requests and complaints professionally.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance on room status and guest needs.
• Maintain accurate guest records in the hotel system.
• Prepare shift handover reports.
• Keep the lobby area presentable, safe and secure.
