Job summary

BigHire in Malaysia is seeking a Freight Logistics Executive for our Kelana Jaya office in Petaling Jaya. This permanent, full-time role offers a 5-day work week and a salary range of RM2,800–RM4,000 per month, with opportunities to manage end-to-end sea freight shipments and quotations.

Your duties include coordinating shipments from origin to destination, negotiating freight rates, updating customers on status, and providing accurate service to clients and overseas partners.

Qualifications

Due to the increasing business volume coming onboard in recent time, they are currently seeking to recruit capable candidates to assume the role of Freight Forwarding and Logistics Administrator to be part of their freight logistics operations teams in Kelana Jaya in Petaling Jaya.

About the job

The roles available are full time permanent positions based at corporate head office at Kelana Jaya in Petaling Jaya. The nature of the positions are fast paced role and applicants will need a high degree accuracy and details and ability to multi-task and requires a good communication skills, especially in English as you will be liaising and communicating with a variety of customers, suppliers and overseas agents.

The roles will require some one confident in managing shipments from origin to destinations, including preparation of quotations and negotiation on freight rates involved. Specifically, the incumbent will be required to attend customers' needs and inquiries for sea freight services, sourcing for prevailing freight rates from shipping. A large portion of the job will be to update customers on their shipments status. Specifically, the role will see you responsible for the execution of freight movements for exports and imports sea freight shipments.
