Job summary

SEER S&R in Penang Bayan Lepas is seeking a Freight Forwarding Sales Manager to drive growth across airfreight, seafreight, trucking and forwarding. You will lead indoor and outdoor sales activities and build strong client relationships.

The role requires 3–5 years in logistics sales, cargo operations and container handling, with fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. A diploma or degree is required, plus own transport and driving license.

Responsibilities

• Actively pursue growth and business expansion opportunities across Airfreight, Seafreight, Trucking and Forwarding by developing new clients and maintaining relationships with existing customers.
• Attend to customer needs (business and operations) to maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Achieve KPIs set by Management and Regional Office.
• Support in preparing RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs and follow-up assessments.
• Execute day-to-day sales activities: visits, updating potentials, feedback on customer performance and AR status.
• Lead the Sales Team (indoor and outdoor) towards overall sales performance.
• Communicate customer requirements to Operations and Customer Service teams.

Job Position: Freight Forwarding Sales Manager

Salary Up To RM9500

Job Descriptions:

• Actively pursue growth and business expansion opportunities (in multiple product – Airfreight, Seafreight, Trucking, Forwarding) by developing new clients and maintaining good relationships with existing customers.
• Attend to the needs of the customers – both business, and operations – to build and maintain high customer satisfactions.
• Achieve Key Performance Indicators set by the Management and Regional Office.
• Support in the preparation, presentation, and follow-up on Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and Requests for Quotations (RFQ).
• Execute day-to-day sales activities, which includes sales visitation, updating new business potentials / share up potentials in the system, feedback on customer performance, satisfactions, AR Outstanding statuses, and progress of business development activities.
• Leading the Sales Team (indoor and Outdoor) towards overall Sales performance achievement.
• Communicate clearly the customers' requirements (operations, billing, communications, etc) to the Operations and Customer Service teams.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in any related discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in a similar capacity in selling logistics services.
• Candidates must have experience in cargo operations and container handling.
• Relevant experience in cargo operations and hands-on container handling is required.
• Applicants should possess practical experience in cargo management and container handling.
• Proficient in oral and written English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
• Possesses the ability and desire to sell, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a high degree of self motivation and ambition.
• Knowledge of MS Office and computer usage.
• Posses own transportation and a valid driving license.
