Job summary

TS SHIPPING & FORWARDING SDN BHD invites applications for a Billing Administrator – Freight Forwarding & Transportation. The role focuses on accurate, timely billing of sea freight and related transportation jobs, collaborating with Operations, Sales, Accounts, and Management.

You will verify documents, ensure revenue is captured correctly, and support monthly billing closure, while maintaining orderly records and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in finance, accounting, business, IT, logistics or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of billing, invoicing or logistics administration experience.
• Experience in freight forwarding/shipping billing is an advantage.
• Proficient with Excel and billing systems; familiar with e-Invoice.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the end-to-end billing process for sea freight and transportation jobs, ensuring completed jobs are billed accurately and on time.
• Verify billing details and ensure all supporting documents, including quotations, Delivery Notes, Job Orders, and other relevant shipping documents, are complete and accurate before billing.
• Coordinate with Accounts & Finance to ensure complete and accurate revenue capture, proper reconciliation, and timely monthly billing closure.
• Ensure invoices are submitted to customers accurately and within the required timeline.
• Identify billing discrepancies, process gaps, or recurring issues and highlight them to Management for corrective action.
• Maintain proper records and filing of invoices and supporting documents for reference and audit purposes
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the immediate superior or Management.
