Job summary

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Asia Pacific invites applications for a Franchise Operations Support Manager for the SEAPR sub-region. The role is remote from Malaysia and will involve regular domestic travel to support franchised properties and owners.

You will liaise with hotel management, ensure brand standards, coordinate pre-opening activities, reporting, and training needs, while building strong relationships with franchisees and internal teams across the region.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a senior department head/manager in hospitality
• Ability to travel extensively within the region
• Strong communication skills, including Bahasa Malaysia
• Minimum 4 years in hotel management or equivalent hospitality leadership
• Adept at multi-project management and cross-functional coordination
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Experience in coordinating training and ensuring brand standards

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-opening support and act as the main liaison between Wyndham and new hotel owners
• Conduct on-site pre-opening training to ensure understanding of brand tools and engagement
• Coordinate with franchisees and Wyndham Franchise Admin to secure opening documents (Data Pack, Insurance, Licenses)
• Monitor hotel opening status and participate in opening conference calls
• Develop relationships with QA and franchisee to ensure smooth operations
• Drive connectivity and distribution with corporate and external partners
• Assist in accounts receivable activities with Malaysia properties
