Job summary

DPE Global Services Centre (Malaysia) is seeking a seasoned Franchise Accounting professional to ensure timely monthly financial reporting for a subregion of franchised entities. You will also oversee 1–2 staff, providing coaching and performance reviews to support professional development.

The role emphasizes strengthening internal controls, improving workflows, and delivering high-quality commentary on financial results for franchisees. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Intermediate Excel skills are required.
• At least 7+ years experience in a financial role with knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconcilations, and Profit & Loss.

Responsibilities

• Ensure financial reports are completed by the deadlines with reconciling items investigated and action points noted.
• Understand and proactively improve the use of technology, reporting tools, procedures and workflows of the team.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and contribute to DBS brand and market presence.
• Supervise and manage performance, workflow, and quality of work of Assistant Accountants, including coaching and reviews.
