Job summary

VV EHOUSE SDN BHD is seeking a forwarding coordinator to support export/import documentation and ensure timely port clearance. You will handle daily forwarding tasks, resolve shipment issues, and ensure accuracy across declaration, loading, and shipping teams.

The role requires familiarity with Malaysia customs acts, HS codes, and declaration systems, plus a KEK certificate or equivalent. Candidates should be able to commute to Klang and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a similar role or equivalent.
• Shipping course or customs course (KEK certificate).
• Experience in customs clearance for K1,K2,K3,K8,K9 and ZB1,ZB2,ZB4.
• Experience in control D&D and port storage removal calculations to meet KPIs.
• Understanding of Malaysia Customs Act and HS code interpretation for accuracy and client satisfaction.
• Proficient in declaration systems: U-custom, Dagangnet, eDCFZ, PIMS, Phyto/Miti/Maqis permits.

Responsibilities

• Assist in export and import documentation and submission of statutory requirements; meet port clearance deadlines.
• Handle daily forwarding matters to meet customer demands and resolve shipment issues within the day.
• Ensure efficient job flow through close monitoring with declaration, loading, and shipping sections.
• Handle customs clearance operations and permit applications; prepare necessary certificates.
• Keep data, records and filling up to date.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor and meet deadlines.

• Assist in export and import documentation & submission of statutory requirement, port clearance.
• Responsible for daily forwarding related matters in order to meet the customer demands & resolve shipment issues within the day.
• Ensure that the jobs are carried out efficiently through close monitoring and follow up with declaration section, loading section and shipping agent.
• Well versed in handling Customs clearance operation & Permit application and necessary Certificates.
• To ensure data, records and filling are kept up to date
• Perform any other job as assigned by Superior from time to time & ensuring deadlines are met

Requirements

• 1 year experience in a similar position or equivalent to
• Shipping course / custom course (KEK certificate)
• Experience in customs clearance for all K1,K2,K3,K8, K9 and ZB1, ZB2 & ZB4.
• Experience in control D&D & port storage Removal calculation & achieve company work KPI
• Proper understanding of Malaysia Custom Act – able to timely and accurate interpretation of HS Code to customs and client satisfaction
• Mandatory knowledge in use of declaration systems / OGA system:
  • U-custom
  • Dagangnet (ALDEC similar to Mycargo2u)
  • eDCFZ system
  • PKFZ Integrated Management System (PIMS)
  • Phyto system, Miti COA (Dagangnet e-permit system), Maqis permit
