Job summary

YATAI TECHNOLOGY SDN. BHD. is seeking a deburring and finishing technician to remove burrs and surface defects from machined parts. You will use hand and power tools, read engineering drawings, and ensure parts meet quality standards.

The role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, with overtime and shift work as needed. Training provided and benefits included.

Qualifications

• Experience in deburring, polishing, or metal finishing is preferred.
• Familiarity with hand tools, rotary tools, grinders, and polishing equipment.
• Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and measuring instruments.
• Good attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work overtime and shifts when required.

Responsibilities

• Remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface defects from machined parts.
• Deburr and finish parts using hand and power tools.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet drawing and quality requirements.
• Read and follow engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Handle precision components carefully to prevent damage.
• Report quality issues or defects to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area (5S).
• Follow company safety and quality procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
