Job summary

TimesConsult is seeking a Diploma holder for entry‑level work in precision tooling and profile grinding. The role involves training on grinding machines, manufacture and repair of die components, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Failure to meet schedule and quality targets may require overtime, including weekends. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, and own transport to the workplace is required.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma holders are preferred.
• Fresh Diploma graduates are welcome to apply.
• Exposure to machining, tooling, die maintenance, or precision engineering is advantageous.
• Own transport and ability to travel to the workplace are required.
• Willingness to work rotating 2-shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Undergo training to operate Profile Grinding machines and related precision machining equipment.
• Manufacture, repair, and rework die and tooling components according to drawings.
• Perform machine setup, basic maintenance, and housekeeping for safety and quality.
• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections to ensure quality.
• Support daily production targets while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot minor machining or tooling issues and escalate when needed.
• Assist in process improvement to boost productivity, quality, and delivery.

Education

Certificate or Diploma in Tool & Die, Precision Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.

Willing to work on a rotating 2-shift schedule.

5 days week with 2 shifts (Sat & Sun off days but OT on weekends is possible too)

Morning 7am – 5pm

Afternoon 5.30pm – 3.30am

Able to work overtime, including weekends and public holidays when required.

Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to safety and quality standards.

• Assist in process improvement activities to enhance productivity, quality, and delivery performance.

• Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
