Job summary

YATAI TECHNOLOGY SDN. BHD. in Malaysia is seeking a metal finishing technician to deburr, polish, and finish machined parts.

You will use hand tools and polishing equipment to remove burrs and surface defects while following drawings and quality instructions. The role requires good manual dexterity and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Overtime and shifts may be required to meet production needs; training and benefits such as SOCSO, EPF, and EIS

Qualifications

• Experience in deburring, polishing, or metal finishing is preferred.
• Able to use hand tools, rotary tools, grinders, and polishing equipment.
• Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and measuring instruments.
• Good attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work overtime and shifts when required.

Responsibilities

• Remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface defects from machined parts.
• Deburr and finish parts using hand and power tools.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet drawing and quality requirements.
• Read and follow engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Handle precision components carefully to prevent damage.
• Report quality issues or defects to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area (5S).
• Follow company safety and quality procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
