Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled production technician to set up and operate machines, including assembly fixtures and finishing tasks, while ensuring quality control throughout the production process.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong skills in technical drawing and mechanics, and proficiency in CNC manufacturing in a fabrication setting involving aluminium, steel and engineering plastics. Excellent organisational ability and safety discipline are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have 3–5 years of relevant working experience with a high school certificate.
• Technical drawing and mechanical skills are required.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Knowledgeable in CNC manufacturing.
• At least 2 years of working experience for this position.
• Preferably experienced in fabrication of aluminium, steel and engineering plastic.
• Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to handle multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines such as ultrasonic machines, sand blasting, press fitting, cleaning equipment or assembly fixtures.
• Assemble complex product parts by hand or with tools including deburring, trimming, painting or labeling.
• Conduct quality assurance checks to remove faulty parts and ensure standards are met.
• Handle raw materials or parts and move completed products to staging areas.
• Prepare finished products, including polishing, deburring and removing sharp edges.
• Record production data such as part counts, inspection results and downtime.
• Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Plan the sequence of necessary actions for job completion.

Responsibility

• 1. Setting up and operating machines such as ultrasonic machines, sand blasting, press fitting equipment, cleaning equipment, or assembly fixtures.
• 2. Assembling complex product parts by hand or using specialized tools. This may include deburring, trimming excess material, painting, or labeling.
• 3. Conducting quality assurance checks (visual or with gauges) to remove faulty parts and ensure finished products meet standards.
• 4. Handling raw materials or complete parts to prepare them for secondary processing and moving completed products to staging areas.
• 5. Prepare finished products according to the requirement. Polishing, deburring and sharp edge removing.
• 6. Recording production data, including part counts, inspection results, and machine downtime.
• 7. Performing routine checks and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• 8. Adhering strictly to safety protocols, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• 9. Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of the job.

Requirements

• 1. Candidate must at least possess a high school certificate with 3~5 years relevant working experience, preferably in related industry.
