Job summary

REN Wellness Retreat (by ERMS Berhad - a subsidiary of IJM Land) seeks a senior FP&A professional to lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. You will build financial models evaluating ROI and strategic initiatives, and partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product to steer performance.

The role emphasizes KPI tracking, pricing insights, and automation of FP&A tools, with strong ERP experience and a focus on fast-paced monthly cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• CIMA qualification will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 7 years in FP&A, corporate finance or management accounting.
• At least 3 years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasts, and 3–5 year plans.
• Develop and maintain financial models for ROI and new initiatives.
• Analyze results vs budget; provide variance analysis to senior leaders.
• Act as the finance partner for Sales, Marketing, Ops, Product, etc.
• Collaborate with heads to build bottom-up budgets and KPI tracking.
• Support pricing analysis, cost optimization and headcount planning.
• Enhance FP&A reporting tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Excel dashboards).
• Drive continuous improvement of ERP and EPM systems (Adaptive, Anaplan, Hyperion).
• Assist in monthly cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis.

Job Responsibilities

Lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans (3-5 years).

Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business scenarios, ROI, and strategic initiatives (e.g., new product launches, market expansion).

Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results against budget/forecast; prepare variance analysis with clear, actionable commentary for senior leadership review.

Act as the primary finance partner for Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, etc. departments.

Collaborate with department heads to build bottom-up budgets and track performance against KPIs (e.g., CAC, LTV, Gross Margin, Unit Economics).

Support pricing analysis, cost optimization projects, and headcount planning.

Enhance and automate FP&A reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, or Excel dashboards).

Drive the continuous improvement of financial systems (ERP, EPM - such as Adaptive, Anaplan, or Hyperion).

Assist in monthly cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis.

Job Requirement

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Candidate with professional qualifications in CIMA will be an added advantage.

Minimum 7 years of working experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, or Management Accounting.

At least 3 years of management experience (leading direct reports or cross-functional projects).

Experience in Hospitality, Medical, Manufacturing, Retail, Consumer Products, FMCG is an added advantage.

Strong proficiency in ERP systems.

Experience with SQL or data querying is a plus.

Ability to thrive under pressure of tight deadlines in monthly reporting/forecast cycles.
