Job summary

REN Wellness Retreat (by ERMS Berhad - a subsidiary of IJM Land) seeks a finance professional to verify invoices, match with POs and delivery documents, and ensure proper postings. The role supports payments, accruals, and journal entries, with emphasis on accuracy and compliance.

Candidates should have a finance-related degree, 2+ years in finance or accounting, and proficiency in PMS/POS/inventory software; advanced Excel and MS Office are required. Hotel/wellness experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Hospitality Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant finance or accounting field.
• Proficiency in PMS, POS, and inventory software (e.g., Oracle, FMC, SAP, Sun Systems, Material Control).
• Advanced Excel skills; ability to produce clear financial reports and dashboards.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Check the completeness and accuracy of supporting documents for invoices received.
• Match invoices with POs, delivery notes and receiving reports.
• Validate prices, quantities, tax compliance, and account coding before posting.
• Ensure AP invoices, accruals and journal vouchers are recorded with correct entries.
• Prepare weekly, biweekly, or monthly payment runs (cheques, transfers, online payments).
• Ensure payments align with credit terms and cash flow requirements.
• Process urgent or advance payments with proper approvals.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible to check for completeness and accuracy of supporting documents (eg: invoice verification by user, agreement, memo approval, Delivery order and purchase order) for every invoice received.

Match invoices with purchase orders (PO), delivery notes and receiving reports.

Validate prices, quantities, tax compliance, and account coding before posting.

To ensure AP invoices, Accrual and relevant journal vouchers are recorded with correct accounting entries into Financial Information System.

Prepare weekly, biweekly, or monthly payment runs (cheques, bank transfers, online payments).

Ensure payments are made according to credit terms and cash flow requirements.

Process urgent or advance payments when required with proper approvals.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Hospitality Management, or related field.

Candidates from hotel, resort or wellness industry will be an added advantage.
