Job summary

WEST MALAYAN GROUP SDN. BHD. is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the company’s finance and accounting operations in Malaysia. The role covers monthly management accounts, financial reporting, cash flow monitoring, budgeting, and supervision of A/P, A/R and GL functions.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance with 5–8 years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and leadership capabilities. Experience in manufacturing or FMCG/food industries is advantageous.

• Experience in a Finance Manager / Senior Accountant / Assistant Finance Manager role.
• Strong knowledge of full-set accounts, financial reporting and taxation.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in manufacturing/FMCG/food industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, banks and relevant authorities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements and statutory requirements.
• Lead and supervise the Finance/Accounts team.

About you
