Job summary

MFTECH GLOBAL (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Finance & Account Manager to lead the company’s finance and accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow planning and compliance.

The successful candidate will supervise the Finance & Account team, oversee audit, taxation and banking relations, and provide financial analysis to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of management accounts, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, including P&L, Balance Sheet, cash flow and management accounts.
• Manage budgeting, financial forecasting, cash flow planning and working capital requirements.
• Monitor supplier payments, customer collections, outstanding receivables and financial commitments.
• Manage banking facilities, loans, financing, guarantees and funding requirements.
• Liaise with banks and financial institutions for financing applications and funding opportunities.
• Oversee AP, AR, invoicing, general ledger, reconciliations and internal financial controls.
• Coordinate annual audit, taxation and statutory compliance matters.
• Analyse financial performance, risks and significant variances and provide recommendations to Management.
• Support Management on financial planning, cost optimisation, profitability and resource allocation.
• Lead and supervise the Finance & Account team and continuously improve finance processes and controls.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Finance & Account Manager to lead and oversee the Company’s finance and accounting functions.

This role is responsible for financial reporting, management accounts, budgeting, cash flow planning, payment and collection control, banking and financing, audit, taxation and financial compliance. The successful candidate will also provide financial analysis and recommendations to Management to support business decisions and sustainable growth.

High level of integrity, confidentiality and professional judgement.

Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines.
