Job summary

SK intellix Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Manager, Finance to oversee day-to-day financial and accounting operations, ensure accurate reporting, and support strategic decision-making. The role requires a strong background in full-set accounts, MFRS 16, and multi-year experience in a similar capacity.

You will prepare management reports, dashboards, and executive presentations for Senior Management, while coordinating with auditors and regulators to ensure statutory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
• ACCA (or equivalent) is preferred.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant working experience.
• Proven experience in handling full-set accounts independently.
• Good understanding and application of MFRS 16 (Leases).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of full sets of accounts and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
• Review accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare monthly management reports, financial analysis, dashboards, and executive presentations for Senior Management.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial planning activities.
• Analyze sales, gross profit, operating expenses, and business performance, providing actionable recommendations to improve profitability.
• Support the Finance Manager in business planning, financial strategy, and decision-making.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities to ensure statutory compliance.
