We are seeking a competent and results-driven Finance Manager to lead the company's finance and accounting function. The role is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, cost control, cash flow management, taxation, compliance, and strategic financial planning. The Finance Manager will work closely with management to support business growth, profitability, and operational excellence while ensuring strong financial governance and internal controls.
Manage the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and treasury functions.
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts, including reporting to Local management and Regional Finance.
Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities to support business objectives
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance to ensure healthy business operations.
Analyse financial results and provide recommendations to improve profitability, productivity, and cost efficiency.
Manage manufacturing costing, inventory valuation, stock reconciliation and related financial controls.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, accounting standards, taxation regulations, and company policies.
Manage corporate tax matters, SST, withholding tax, e-Invoice compliance, and liaise with relevant authorities.
Coordinate annual audits and work closely with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and government agencies.
Establish and maintain effective internal controls, risk management processes, and financial policies.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a recognised professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAEW, or equivalent.
Minimum 8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial position.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, with good exposure to manufacturing costing and inventory accounting.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, taxation, SST, e-Invoicing requirements, and statutory compliance.
Knowledge and experience in Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) regulations, customs compliance, duty exemptions, import and export controls, and record keeping requirements is strongly preferred.
Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Independent, detail-oriented and hands-on, with strong ownership, accuracy and ability to meet reporting and compliance deadlines
