Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Accounting or Audit.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong communication, integrity, judgement and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of monthly management accounts, financial statements, and year-end closing activities.
• Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes with business and operational teams.
• Manage and coordinate the statutory audit process with external auditors.
• Oversee corporate taxation and other statutory requirements.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Strengthen financial controls, policies, processes and governance frameworks.

Job description

Senior Executive/Manager in the Finance Department with a focus on Accounting/Finance responsibilities. This role involves leading financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic decision-making through financial analysis and reporting.

Job Responsibilities

Lead the preparation and review of monthly management accounts, financial statements, and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, compliance with applicable accounting standards, and timely submission of financial results.

Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes in collaboration with business and operational teams. Develop financial projections, monitor business performance against approved budgets, identify key financial risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to support effective decision-making.

Manage and coordinate the statutory audit process, including liaising with external auditors, ensuring timely preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation, and resolving audit matters.

Oversee corporate taxation and other statutory requirements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and reporting deadlines while identifying opportunities to optimise the organisation's tax position.

Prepare financial reports, management dashboards, performance analysis, and financial presentations for senior management and key stakeholders.

Strengthen financial controls, policies, processes, and governance frameworks to safeguard company assets, improve operational efficiency, and mitigate financial and business risks.

Job Requirements
