Key responsibilities
Plan, coordinate and supervise day-to-day finance activities to ensure smooth and timely operations
Review and verify accounting entries, payments, receipts, invoices and other financial transactions
Provide guidance and support to finance team members on accounting and financial matters
Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls and financial procedures
Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial reports and analysis
Review monthly closing activities and ensure all accounts are properly reconciled and recorded
Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure timely collection and payment
Assist in cash flow monitoring and financial forecasting
Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents and responses to auditors' queries
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and financial plans
About you
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance
Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and internal controls
Good analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently as well as lead and support a finance team
Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent will be an added advantage
Experience with SAP or other ERP systems will be an added advantage
