Job summary

EPS Malaysia, a growing manufacturing company in Kedah, seeks an experienced Finance Manager to strengthen the finance function, control, and reporting. You will partner with management and other functions to deliver accurate financial information and support business growth.

This role covers full-spectrum accounting, budgeting, forecasting, costing, cash flow, and internal controls as the company expands, with leadership responsibilities and exposure to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• 8–10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably with supervisory/managerial exposure.
• Manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• Hands-on in full-set accounts, reporting, budgeting and cash-flow management.
• Strong knowledge of costing, inventory controls and financial controls.
• Familiar with Malaysian taxation, SST, statutory requirements and audit processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and business-partnering capabilities.
• Able to work independently in a fast-growing environment.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Lead full spectrum of finance and accounting functions (GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, inventory, costing, treasury).
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual closing and management reporting.
• Prepare and analyse P&L, balance sheet, cash-flow statements and management reports.
• Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts and financial planning.
• Perform budget-versus-actual analyses and provide recommendations to management.
• Establish and improve finance policies, SOPs, internal controls and reporting processes.
• Support setup and development of the finance function as the operation expands.
• Manage manufacturing costing, inventory valuation and cost-control activities.
• Monitor expenses, CAPEX, working capital and overall financial performance.
• Prepare cash-flow forecasts and ensure liquidity.

This position will play a key role in establishing and strengthening the company's finance function, financial controls, reporting structure and operational finance processes. The Finance Manager will work closely with the management team and other functional departments to provide accurate financial information, strengthen internal controls and support business growth.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably with several years in a supervisory or managerial position.
• Strong experience within a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience in full-set accounts, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, costing and cash-flow management.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing costing, inventory controls and financial controls.
