Job summary

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and submission of quarterly and annual financial reports in compliance with Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements.
• Manage Group financial reporting, management accounts and statutory financial statements.
• Oversee consolidation across subsidiaries with intercompany reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with MFRS, Companies Act 2016 and related regulations.
• Coordinate external audits, including year-end statutory audits and audit schedules.
• Review accounting treatments for significant transactions and provide guidance on technical matters.
• Strengthen internal controls, policies, and reporting processes for governance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with business units and management to provide financial insights for decisions.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, company secretaries, bankers, and regulators.
• Lead, coach and develop the finance team; drive continuous improvements.

• Oversee the consolidation of financial results across subsidiaries, including intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), Companies Act 2016, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and manage external audits, including year-end statutory audits and the preparation of audit schedules.
• Review accounting treatment for significant transactions and provide guidance on technical accounting matters.

Profile
