Job summary

Jobstreet Malaysia in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead daily finance operations, including General Ledger, financial reporting, audits and tax, in the Johor Bahru area. The role drives monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, ensures accuracy and compliance, and strengthens internal controls.

You will support management decisions with financial analysis, mentor the finance team, and collaborate with regional/global stakeholders in a multinational environment.

• Manage daily finance operations including General Ledger (GL), financial reporting, audit and tax activities.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting processes.

• Manage internal controls, compliance processes and financial governance.
• Support internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
• Oversee tax compliance activities and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors and relevant authorities.
• Support financial analysis for business projects, CAPEX evaluation and investment decisions.
• Review cost performance, profitability and provide recommendations for business improvement.
• Lead and develop finance team members while collaborating with regional/global stakeholders.
• Support finance system improvements and process enhancement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 7-10 years of finance/accounting experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Prior experience in a multinational company (MNC) environment is required.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or CIMA are advantageous.
• Strong ERP system experience (SAP exposure is preferred)
