Job summary

V.S. INDUSTRY BERHAD is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead monthly closing, budgeting, and forecasting within a manufacturing EMS environment.

You will oversee the chart of accounts, journal entries, and reconciliations, manage month-end and year-end closings, and monitor liquidity while coordinating with auditors and finance staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in Finance and Accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
• Experience in manufacturing, EMS, or multinational company environment is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP / SAP Financial System.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and internal controls.
• Good leadership skills with experience in managing and developing finance teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial statements and oversee month-end close.
• Prepare annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Oversee chart of accounts, journal entries, and account reconciliation.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Monitor daily cash flow and liquidity planning.
• Oversee AR, AP, and inventory management.
• Manage banking relationships, lines of credit, loans and financing activities.
• Liaise with external and internal auditors and prepare schedules.
• Lead finance staff recruitment, supervision and evaluation.
