Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking an experienced finance professional to lead all accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, GL, inventory, revenue recognition, cash flow monitoring and tax matters. • ACCA or Bachelor Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional qualification in Finance/Accountancy.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in finance.
• Experience in manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, GL and Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition, cash flow monitoring, and tax matters
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of annual budget and financial forecasts and report variances
• Prepare and circulate monthly financial statements
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance
• Support month-end and year-end close process, liaising with auditors, bankers, insurers and the necessary stakeholders to ensure timely audit and its completion
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• In charge of accounting system, and in addition support other system maintenance and integration

Education
