Job summary

Confidential in Malaysia is seeking an experienced finance leader to manage day-to-day accounting operations and drive budgeting, cash flow planning and cost control. You will ensure compliance with local standards, prepare monthly and annual financial reports, and collaborate with auditors and tax agents.

The role requires a degree in accounting or finance, at least 8 years of related experience, and SAP ERP proficiency. Chinese & English literacy is essential for stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum 8 years related experience in finance, accounting and cost control.
• Experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, Construction or Fabrication preferred.
• SAP ERP experience is an added advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to read and write in Chinese & English languages.

Job description

• Lead a team of accounts staffs on day-to-day operations and perform management accounting activities including preparation of financial accounts, cash flow planning, performance reviews, budgeting, credit controls etc
• Drive the compliance in local accounting standard, statutory filing requirements and reporting in line with the Corporate Shareholders' emphasis on timely reporting and accountability
• Preparation of monthly and annually financial reports and ensure accuracy and completion on a timely manner
• Set and manage budgets and budgetary controls
• Preparation financial board papers for quarterly meetings
• Drive changes, lean management and efficiency improvements
• Review the analysis and explanation of financial performance
• Collaborate with auditors, tax agents, banks, legal officers and other statutory bodies / authorities
• Formulate and drive policy and procedures in relation to accounting standards, debtors' collection and inventory management
• Enforce compliance with Group SOPs, policies and internal controls

Requirement :-

• Degree in Accounting or Finance, or professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA or MIA is an added advantage
• Minimum 8 years related experience in finance, accounting and project cost control, tax administration and planning, treasury and banking matters.
• Experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, Construction or Fabrication is highly preferred.
• Candidates with ERP - SAP experiences will be an added advantage.
• Good project cost control and management accounting skills
