Job summary

Kairos Global Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a seasoned finance professional to lead monthly management reporting and group finance matters in a manufacturing context.

You will oversee month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, ERP-based reporting (Epicor/SAP knowledge is a plus), and liaise with the European parent team to ensure accurate statutory and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent (ACCA/CIMA/CPA).
• Minimum 8 years in finance and accounting, manufacturing preferred.
• Strong experience in monthly management reporting and financial analysis.
• Hands-on ERP experience; Epicor or SAP advantageous.
• Knowledge of manufacturing costing, inventory management and financial controls.
• Experience in MNC or group reporting environments preferred.
• Independent, hands-on, detail-oriented; able to meet tight deadlines; good communication and overseas liaison.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for group deadlines.
• Prepare monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and performance analysis.
• Analyze monthly results against budget/forecast; highlight variances and risks.
• Oversee daily accounting operations, month-end closing, AP, AR and GL.
• Manage manufacturing costing, WIP and gross profit analysis.
• Coordinate annual budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Ensure accurate financial data and reporting through the ERP system.
• Collaborate with European parent finance team on group reporting and financial matters.
• Coordinate statutory audits, tax matters and regulatory compliance.
• Lead the finance team and continuously improve financial processes and internal controls.

Job description

Prepare and complete monthly management accounts and financial reports within Group reporting deadlines.

Prepare monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and financial performance analysis.

Analyse monthly results against budget and forecast, highlighting significant variances and financial risks.

Oversee daily accounting operations, month-end closing, AP, AR and general ledger.

Manage manufacturing costing, WIP and gross profit analysis.

Coordinate annual budgeting, financial forecasting and cash flow management.

Ensure accurate financial data and reporting through the company's ERP system.

Work closely with the European parent company's finance team on group reporting and financial matters.

Coordinate statutory audits, tax matters and regulatory compliance.

Lead the finance team and continuously improve financial processes and internal controls.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA).

Minimum 8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Strong experience in monthly management reporting and financial analysis.

Must have hands-on experience with ERP systems. Experience with Epicor or SAP is an advantage.

Good knowledge of manufacturing costing, inventory management and financial controls.

Experience in MNC or group reporting environments is preferred.
