Job summary

Confidential Jobs in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Finance Director or Senior Financial Controller to manage all accounting operations across billing, A/R, GL, cost accounting, inventory accounting, revenue recognition, cash flow monitoring and tax matters.

You will coordinate annual budgets, forecasts, regulatory reporting, and liaise with auditors, bankers, insurers and stakeholders to ensure timely audits. ACCA or equivalent and 10+ years in finance are required.

Qualifications

• ACCA or degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in finance.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, GL and Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition, cash flow monitoring, and tax matters
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of annual budget and financial forecasts and report variances
• Prepare and circulate monthly financial statements
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance
• Support month-end and year-end close process, liaising with auditors, bankers, insurers and the necessary stakeholders to ensure timely audit and its completion
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• In charge of accounting system, and in addition support other system maintenance and integration

Education

ACCA or Bachelor Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional qualification in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent

About you

• At least 10 years of experience in finance
• Working experiences in manufacturing is preferred
