Job summary

Morrison Express (M) SDN BHD (Selangor) is seeking a finance intern to assist with daily payment processing, AP/AR tasks, and customer statements. The role offers exposure to banking records, data entry, and month-end processes while supporting the Finance team.

The candidate should be pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance, be detail-oriented, and able to learn quickly. Based in Bandar Botanic, Klang, with a commitment from 1 November 2026 to 30 April 2027.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and accurate in data entry.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
• Willing to work at Bandar Botanic, Klang.
• Able to commit from 1 November 2026 to 30 April 2027.

Responsibilities

• Assist in processing daily IBG payment transactions with updating PO transaction references, and recording approved outward payments in the accounting system.
• Support AP trade invoice posting and data entry in the accounting system.
• Prepare and email monthly customer account statements.
• Assist in matching customer receipts against bank records and updating tracking spreadsheets.
• Support allocation of customer payments against outstanding invoices in the accounting system.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of finance records.
• Provide general administrative support to the Finance team.
