Greatech Integration (M) Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking a finance professional to support daily accounting operations. You will reconcile accounts, verify vouchers, prepare invoices, post transactions, maintain filing, and assist the Finance Manager.

The role emphasizes accuracy, independence, and adherence to ISO standards and safety practices. Candidate requirements include a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance or equivalent qualifications, strong Excel skills, and the ability to meet

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or equivalent qualifications.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Perform timely reconciliation of accounts including debtors and creditors.
Verify payment vouchers against POs, DOs and invoices for accuracy.
Prepare customer billings and invoices.
Post accounting transactions and billings into the accounting system.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of finance records.
Coordinate dispatch of banking and other corporate documents as required.
Generate financial reports and schedules as assigned.
Participate in monthly stocktaking activities.
Assist in fixed asset tagging and verification.
Support Finance Manager and Assistant Finance Manager in daily operations.
Adhere to ISO standards, SOPs, policies and guidelines; ensure safety practices.

Job description

Perform timely reconciliation of accounts, including debtors, creditors, and other related accounts.

Verify payment vouchers against supporting documents (Purchase Orders, Delivery Orders, and Invoices) to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Prepare customer billings and invoices.

Post accounting transactions and billings into the accounting system.

Maintain proper filing and documentation of finance records.

Coordinate the dispatch of banking and other corporate documents when required.

Generate financial reports and schedules as assigned.

Participate in monthly stocktaking activities.

Assist in fixed asset tagging and physical verification exercises.

Support the Finance Manager and Assistant Finance Manager in daily finance operations.

Other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.

To comply to all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by the Management) and to adhere to general safety practices, standard operating procedure, work instructions, policies and guidelines provided by the company.

Willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; or professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CAT, LCCI, or equivalent.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
