Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting or financial operations experience in Malaysia and Singapore.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Navision, SAP).
• Professional qualifications like ACCA, CPA, or CA are highly advantageous, especially for Senior Finance Executive roles.

Responsibilities

• Verify and process supplier invoices, staff claims, and client billings.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L statements and cash flow forecasts.
• Perform general ledger, bank reconciliations, and assist external auditors during annual reviews.

Job description

Manages daily accounting operations, including processing invoices, maintaining full sets of accounts, and handling bank reconciliations. They prepare financial reports, support budgeting, and ensure compliance with statutory regulations (e.g., GST & SST filings).

Key responsibilities

• Verify and process supplier invoices, staff claims, and client billings
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and cash flow forecasts
• Perform general ledger (GL), bank reconciliations, and assist external auditors during annual reviews
• Ensure adherence to local tax regulations (IRAS in Singapore), internal controls, and financial reporting standards
• Handle cross-border trade, customs tariffs, and complex vendor processing
• Compile audit-ready data for claiming local manufacturing development grants, production allowances, and specialized tech industry tax incentives
• Manage trade compliance requirements, including customs invoicing, import permits, and tariff reconciliation
• Reconcile Singapore Goods and Services Tax (GST) & Malaysia Sales and Service Tax (SST) and corporate tax filings like Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI)

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
