Job summary

Highstar Energy Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an Account Executive / Senior Account Executive to manage full set of accounts for two trading entities in Malaysia and Singapore. You will handle AP/AR/GL, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing, while maintaining journals, fixed assets, and intercompany reconciliations.

You will support tax computations for MY & SG and assist with costing and manufacturing schedules.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Finance (ACCA/CPA/LCCI advantage).
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian and Singapore accounting standards.
• Familiar with Singapore GST and Malaysia e-Invoicing requirements.
• Hands-on experience in AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliation.
• Knowledge of export documentation processes.
• Proficient in spoken and written Mandarin for Mandarin-speaking customers.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Handle AP/AR/GL/Bank Reconciliation for 2 trading entities.
• Complete month-end & year-end closing.
• Maintain journals, schedules, fixed assets.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysia & Singapore accounting standards.
• Assist Finance Manager with manufacturing accounts.
• Assist costing, intercompany reconciliation, manufacturing schedules.
• Prepare SG GST returns (if applicable).
• Prepare MY SST (if applicable).
• Perform MY & SG tax computations.
• Trading Analysis & TP Support.
• Perform sales, margin, cost & profitability analysis.
• Prepare intercompany recharge schedules.
• Assist with TP documentation.
• Export Documents & Billing: liaise with forwarders, issue invoices (SG & MY).
• Budgeting & Reporting: budgets, forecasts, cash flow, variance analysis.
• Filing & Internal Control: proper filing, liaise with auditors/tax agents.

Ad-Hoc Tasks

Support Finance Manager with manufacturing & trading tasks

Handle other companies' financial matters

Education :

Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Finance (ACCA/CPA/LCCI advantage)
