Responsibilities:
Take ownership of the full Accounts Receivable (AR) function, including invoicing, collection, receipt allocation, reconciliation, and customer account management.
Monitor customer ageing reports and proactively follow up on overdue payments.
Maintain close communication with customers to resolve payment issues and disputes promptly.
Prepare weekly and monthly AR ageing and collection reports for management.
Evaluate customer creditworthiness and assist in credit limit reviews.
Responsible for managing the release of Sales Orders by reviewing customers’ credit limits, credit terms, outstanding balances, and payment status before approval.
Work closely with the Sales team to ensure sales activities are aligned with approved credit policies.
Perform customer account reconciliations and resolve outstanding discrepancies.
Review and verify Credit Note applications by checking the reason, supporting documents, and approval requirements before processing to ensure validity and compliance with company policies.
Manage the Company's e-Invoicing process, including the timely generation, validation, submission, and monitoring of e-Invoices in compliance with LHDN requirements.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of invoice data and coordinate with internal departments to resolve any e-Invoice-related issues.
Support month-end closing activities relating to AR and General Ledger.
Assist in cash flow planning by ensuring timely collection of outstanding receivables.
Monitor foreign currency exposure and assess the impact of forex fluctuation on cash flow planning.
Support audit, tax, and statutory reporting requirements.
Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
Perform other finance, accounting duties and office administration assigned by management.
Requirements:
Minimum education : Degree / Diploma in finance, accounting or related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in account Receivable, credit control or finance.
Experience in customer collection, credit assessment, and sales order credit control will be an advantage.
Able to handle full set of accounts will be added advantage.
Flexible and willing to undertake any other task assigned by superior from time to time and open to changes.
Possess good communication skills and must be able to work independently manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
Preferably candidates with excellent soft skills and good command of written and spoken in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking customers/suppliers.
Proficient in accounting software, ie. Autocount.
Well verse in Microsoft Office Software.
Self-driven with positive working attitude, strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
