Texchem Corporation Sdn Bhd in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a finance professional to manage payment schedules, process payments, and maintain supplier records.
We value 2–3 years in finance, a Diploma/Degree in Finance or Accounting, proficiency in Excel and ERP systems, and strong analytical skills. You will support month-end close, assist with audits, and liaise with auditors and vendors.
Manufacturing exposure is a plus; join a diversified Malaysian conglomerate with regional operations.
Prepare payment schedules (weekly / monthly)
Process payments via bank transfer, cheque, or online banking
Ensure payments are made according to agreed credit terms
Obtain necessary approval before releasing payment
Corresponding with vendors and respond to inquiries
Maintain and update supplier profile in the accounting system
Reconcile AP subledger with the General Ledger (GL)
Prepare banker acceptance/trade loan form and submit to banker
Liaise with bankers for any financial queries
Assist in month-end closing
Attending focus audit and final audit
Liaise with internal and external auditor
Attending Mid Yearly and year end stock-take exercise
Ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior from time to time
Diploma/ Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
2–3 years of relevant finance/accounting experience.
Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
Strong analytical and numerical skills with good attention to detail.
Good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Manufacturing experience is an added advantage.
