CENTRAL ELASTIC CORPORATION SDN. BERHAD in Penang, Malaysia, seeks a Finance & Admin Manager to oversee day-to-day operations in Finance, Admin, HR and IT. The role focuses on GL, payroll, costing, budgeting and governance in a manufacturing context.

The candidate will lead a team, drive process improvements, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic financial analysis for forecasts and annual planning.

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting or related discipline; professional qualification in finance preferred.
10 years manufacturing experience in Finance/Accounting, with some HR experience.

Responsibilities

Supervise Finance & Admin department team for day-to-day operations in Finance & Accounting and Admin sections.
Close GL books monthly, prepare management reports and forecasts.
Prepare year-end financial audit papers and tax working papers.
Ensure ISO and GDPMD compliance; lead productivity and cost-saving initiatives.
Liaise with authorities, auditors, tax consultants and bankers.
Develop and document Accounting, HR and IT policies to strengthen internal controls.
Assist with IT system issues and transfer pricing documentation.
Analyze business plans and projects related to Finance, HR, IT and ad-hoc requests.

Job description

Supervise Finance & Admin department team for day-to-day operations in : - Finance and Accounting section (General Ledger, AP, AR, Payroll, Fixed Assets and Costing). - Admin section (HR, HR General Admin and IT)

Monthly tasks include closing GL books, management report, forecasts and analysis for actuals vs forecast, costing files, payroll, cash flow projections and adhoc requests.

Yearly tasks include annual budget, yearly financial audit working papers and tax working papers.

Involve in HQ audit, Internal Audit and ensure compliance with ISO and GDPMD standards for various Finance & Admin sections.

Lead the team for productivity and process improvements, costs savings and digitalisation.

Liaise with relevant authorities, HQ audits, auditors, tax consultants, bankers etc for all work-related matters.

Develop and document Accounting, HR and IT policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Assist to resolve with user any issues with IT systems.

Assist in Transfer Pricing documentations.

Perform analysis, business plans, projects related to Finance, HR, IT and adhoc requests.

Qualifications

Successful candidate maybe trained and promote to Finance & Admin Manager.

Degree in Accounting or any related discipline/Professional Qualification related to Finance related.

Preferably 10 years manufacturing experience in Finance or Accounting role, with some experience in HR role.

Knowledge of employment laws and unionised environment (if any).

Possess leadership skills, multitasking, good analytical and interpersonal skills, positive work attitude, committed, good team player and able to work independently.
