A Finance Executive role in Malaysia requires diligent processing of daily invoices, ensuring transaction accuracy, and proper documentation in the accounting system. You will assist with monthly bank and account reconciliations, data entry in the HCS System, and issuing payment vouchers, invoices, and statements.
The role also covers E-invoice submission, depreciation updates, and collaboration with procurement and logistics to support monthly reporting.
Process daily invoices, verify accuracy of transaction numbers, and ensure all financial transactions are properly documented and recorded in the accounting system.
Assist in performing monthly bank and account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies between bank statements and internal records.
Perform accurate data entry in HCS System and ensure proper documents are filed.
Perform and keep track of all payments, sales and expenditures. Issue payment vouchers, transfer vouchers, receiving vouchers, invoices, debit and credit notes, statements, etc. on a monthly basis.
Responsible for E‑invoice preparation, validation and submission to LHDN, customers and suppliers (Domestic and International).
Update Manufacturing Cost, Petty Cash Report, and Monthly Accounting Report.
Liaise with customers and suppliers regarding orders, invoices, payments and receipts, and obtain relevant information.
Work closely with the Procurement and Logistics teams.
Update depreciation reports and manage fixed assets efficiently on a monthly basis.
Assist tax agents and external auditors during Year End Financial Audit, ensuring all required documents are prepared and completed to the required standards.
AUTHORITY
Develop Accounting & Finance Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as required.
Implement Accounting & Finance process improvements as required.
