Job summary

Kuala Lumpur Durian Experience Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking a Finance Executive to handle the full set of accounts for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and timely closing of monthly accounts.

You will prepare monthly P&L statements, balance sheets, and management reports, and liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and the company secretary to ensure statutory compliance. • Handle full set of accounts for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and timely closing of monthly accounts.
• Prepare monthly P&L statements, balance sheets, and management reports for all entities.
• Perform regular financial reporting to management, highlighting variances, trends, and recommendations.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and company secretary to ensure statutory compliance.
• Prepare JV and project-based financial reports, including revenue tracking and cost allocation.
• Maintain and analyse China export costing and profit margins, aligning Malaysia and China statements.
• Work with China teams on internal costing, SOA reviews, reconciliation, and payment schedules.
• Oversee AP/AR functions, including invoice verification, payment processing, and debtor follow-up.
• Ensure proper maintenance of financial records, accounting entries, and supporting documents.
• Support cash flow management, including forecasting, monitoring, and fund allocation.
• Assist in developing and refining internal controls, SOPs, and financial processes to improve efficiency.

Job description

Perform regular financial reporting to management, highlighting key variances, trends, and recommendations.

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and company secretary to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Prepare joint-venture (JV) and project-based financial reports, including revenue tracking and cost allocation.

Maintain and analyse China export costing and profit margins, ensuring alignment between Malaysia and China financial statements.

Work closely with China teams and related parties on internal costing, Statement of Account (SOA) reviews, reconciliation, and payment schedules.

Oversee AP/AR functions, including invoice verification, payment processing, and debtor follow-up.

Ensure proper maintenance of financial records, accounting entries, and supporting documents.

Support cash flow management, including forecasting, monitoring, and fund allocation.

Assist in developing and refining internal controls, SOPs, and financial processes to improve efficiency.
