QUETTA BYTE SDN. BHD. is seeking an accounting professional in Malaysia (Johor) to manage invoicing, payments, closing activities, and monthly financial reporting.
The role covers cash flow, budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis while ensuring proper documentation and approvals. Collaboration with auditors, banks, and authorities is required. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of accounting experience, a degree or diploma in accounting/finance, and knowledge of Malaysian statutory
Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, credit notes, debit notes, and other accounting documents.
Monitor accounts receivable and payable, including outstanding payments and customer/supplier balances.
Perform monthly closing activities and prepare monthly financial reports.
Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents.
Assist in preparing cash flow reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
Handle staff claims, expenses, and payment processing.
Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and supported by relevant documentation and approvals.
Assist with e-Invoice, SST, tax, and other statutory compliance matters where applicable.
Assist with EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and other payroll-related financial matters when required.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, banks, customers, suppliers, and relevant government authorities on finance-related matters.
Support the Finance Manager / Head of Finance in financial planning, reporting, and other finance-related activities.
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least 1–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
Familiar with Malaysian accounting and statutory requirements.
Knowledge of e-Invoice, SST, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and tax matters will be an advantage.
Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Meticulous, responsible, and able to work independently.
Able to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage for communication with Chinese-speaking management, clients, or suppliers.
