Job summary

Texchem Group in Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Finance professional to manage full accounting end-to-end and support the finance team with accurate records and timely insights. You will handle monthly close, financial reporting, cash flow planning and tax/compliance, while performing ad-hoc tasks to strengthen controls.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance with 3–4 years of relevant experience, solid MFRS/IFRS knowledge, Excel and ERP proficiency, and excellent English

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 3–4 years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of MFRS/IFRS and tax regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and at least one ERP/accounting system.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Positive, self-motivated and proactive with high integrity and teamwork.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Full set accounting, monthly close and analysis including GL, AP, AR and journals.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and quarterly Group reporting.
• Monitor cash flow planning and treasury activities including forex bookings.
• Support annual tax computation, transfer pricing docs and audits.
• Handle day-to-day finance operations such as invoicing, payments, collections and data entry; support process improvements and ad-hoc tasks.
