They are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the financial operations at their Malaysia facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and bridging local financial reporting with our Group's reporting requirements.
Manage end-to-end financial operations for the Malaysia plant, including accounting, taxation, and compliance
Ensure full compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), SST (Sales and Service Tax), corporate income tax, personal income tax filing, and local statutory audit requirements
Oversee cost accounting, expense control, and fund ledger management for the manufacturing facility
Prepare and submit financial reports to the China headquarters in accordance with Group reporting standards and timelines
Identify and mitigate overseas tax and financial risks independently
Coordinate with local auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for the plant
Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships
Malaysian Local Financial Expertise
In-depth knowledge of Malaysia's local financial system
Proficiency in MFRS (Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards)
Strong expertise in SST taxation, corporate income tax, personal income tax filing, and local statutory audit compliance processes
Proven ability to independently identify and mitigate overseas tax risks
Financial experience in chemical, fertilizer, fine chemical, or manufacturing industries
Solid understanding of cost accounting for production-oriented enterprises
Experience in expense control and fund/ledger management
Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, MICPA, CIMA, or equivalent) preferred
Minimum 5+ years of relevant finance experience, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role
Strong communication, negotiation, and cross-cultural collaboration skills
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
