Job summary

Evyap Sabun Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead month-end closing, manage GL and AP activities, and support audits and regulatory reporting. You will collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial data and timely responses to internal and external stakeholders.

The role requires hands-on experience in closing processes, strong knowledge of AP, and familiarity with audit and tax procedures.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of GL accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience in month-end closing and journal entries.
• Experience in Accounts Payable and handling supplier matters.
• Exposure to audit and tax processes.
• Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end closing process and ensure accurate postings.
• Oversee Accounts Payable operations and respond to supplier inquiries.
• Prepare and submit quarterly regulatory reporting in compliance with requirements.
• Manage fixed assets accounting including capitalization and depreciation.
• Support Finance Manager in financial reporting and analysis.
• Handle ad hoc requests from internal teams and head office.
• Participate in annual audit and tax filing with auditors and agents.
