Job summary

Secure Source Distribution (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail-oriented Finance professional to manage day-to-day accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting in Selangor.

The role covers AP/AR/GL, fixed assets, payroll interfaces, tax filings, and internal controls, with collaboration across departments to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Fluent English is essential; Mandarin is a plus for cross-border liaison.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field.
• Excellent communication with peers and external parties.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus for liaising with Chinese counterparts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a quantitative approach.
• Confident presenter to directors and frontline staff; proficient in charts, tables, and PowerPoint.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint); exposure to AI-driven tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily finance operations: AP/AR/GL, journal entries, fixed assets, petty cash, inventory records, and vendor management.
• Lead monthly/quarterly/year-end close; prepare schedules and management reports.
• Prepare financial reports, including sales, cash flow, and P&L; support forecasts, cost analysis, and manpower/pay analysis.
• Support tax computations and filings; liaise with tax agents and authorities.
• Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and process documentation in line with MFRS/IFRS.
• Coordinate external audits and prepare audit deliverables and schedules.
• Perform bank reconciliations, oversee payroll accounting entries; work with HR on payroll and statutory compliance.

Job description

• Perform daily finance operations: AP/AR/GL, journal entries, fixed assets, petty cash, inventory records, and vendor management.
• Lead your scope of the monthly/quarterly/year-end close; prepare accurate schedules and management reports.
• Prepare financial reports, including sales, cash flow, and profit & loss; support P&L forecasts, cost analysis, and manpower/pay analysis.
• Support tax computations and filings (MY: SST/withholding/CP204, PCB/EPF/SOCSO/EIS; SG where relevant: GST/IRAS), and liaise with tax agents and authorities.
• Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and process documentation in line with MFRS/IFRS.
• Coordinate external audits and prepare audit deliverables and schedules.
• Perform bank reconciliations, oversee payroll accounting entries; work with HR on payroll, bills, payments, and statutory compliance.

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline from a reputable university.
