Job summary

Swisslog in Malaysia is seeking an on-site software support engineer to provide post‑implementation support, restore operations quickly, and ensure service levels are met.

The role requires a CS/IT degree, at least 2 years of relevant experience, Java knowledge, and the ability to work independently, including overtime; English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency; accommodation and a 3‑year contract are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge and hands-on Java experience.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willing to work shifts and overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Restore system operations quickly following incidents.
• Respond to customer concerns professionally and promptly.
• Liaise between customers and the Level 2 support team in Malaysia.
• Provide onsite support during project deployment.
• Record incidents in the CMMS accurately.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate when needed.
• Conduct regular onsite system inspections and maintenance.
