Job summary

Markem-Imaje in Malaysia is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain and repair our marking and coding systems at customer sites. You will deliver on-site service, provide training and technical guidance to customers, and ensure operations meet safety and quality standards.

Qualified candidates hold a Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, have 2–5 years field service experience, possess a driving licence, and can communicate in Mandarin to serve

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• 2–5 years of field service experience.
• Valid driving license.
• Mandarin-speaking to serve Mandarin-speaking customers.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair and support Markem-Imaje products on site.
• Provide training and technical advice on the product use in person and via phone.
• Install products at customer premises.
• Investigate problems, propose solutions and arrange for repairs.
• Monitor repairs with respect to service/warranty coverage and suggest improvements.
• Schedule planned maintenance calls and regular customer visits.
• Adhere to field service policies, procedures and technical standards.
• Identify spare parts needs and assist with monitoring equipment.
• Provide sales support on new applications, software and demonstrations.
