Job summary

Print & Pack Solution Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Service Engineer based in Selangor to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will provide technical support and maintenance for our range of coding and marking equipment, ensuring our clients' operations run smoothly.

You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, participate in installation and commissioning, and train customers on proper use.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a service engineer or technician role.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel to customer sites.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing machinery.
• Respond to service calls and resolve issues promptly.
• Inspect and recommend preventive measures to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with production team to address operational challenges.
• Maintain records of service activities and spare parts inventory.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment and train customers.

Based in Selangor, this role is crucial in ensuring our clients' operations run smoothly.

What you'll be doing

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing machinery
• Respond to service calls and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Conduct regular inspections and recommend preventative measures to minimize equipment downtime
• Collaborate with the production team to identify and address operational challenges
• Maintain accurate records of service activities and inventory of spare parts
• Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Provide technical guidance and training to customers on the proper use of our equipment

What we're looking for

• Min Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
• min 2 years of experience in a similar service engineer or technician role
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and cross-functional teams
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel to customer sites and outstation when required
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English
