Job summary

DKSH is seeking an Engineer, Technical Services to install, maintain and troubleshoot Espec environmental test chambers in Malaysia. You will deliver on-site support, prepare reports, and coordinate spare parts while ensuring safety standards and high customer satisfaction.

The role requires a chemistry degree and at least five years in a technical sales or specialty chemicals environment, with strong market and industry knowledge and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry.
• Minimum 5 years in technical sales or specialty chemicals.
• Advanced knowledge of the industry, market, competitors and customers.
• Advanced knowledge of sales and marketing principles with ability to apply them in technical sales.
• Analytical skills to translate market insights into commercial strategies.

Responsibilities

• Install, setup, and commissioning of environmental test chambers.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and routine servicing.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, refrigeration, and control systems.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
• Prepare service reports and documentation.
• Coordinate technical support activities and spare parts.
• Ensure safety and company standards compliance.
• Respond to urgent breakdown calls with a solution-focused approach.
