Overview

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission, and troubleshoot Krones machinery within your area of specialization. In this role, you will provide on-site technical support, deliver operator training, and ensure equipment runs safely and efficiently. You will work independently at customer sites to diagnose issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and prepare accurate service reports. You will also collaborate with engineering teams on design and quality improvements while recommending enhancements to optimize processes and machine performance.

What awaits you

Set up and commission Krones machines across the product portfolio according to the technician’s area of specialization (e.g., filling technology), under the guidance of an experienced Service Technician.

Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on individual machines within the assigned Business Unit, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.

Deliver technical training to machine operators at customer sites to ensure safe and proper operation of the equipment.

Provide technical support to customers, addressing inquiries and offering guidance on machine usage and maintenance.

Participate in design improvements, working closely with engineering teams to support updates, modifications, and enhancement initiatives.

Support quality improvement efforts in alignment with company-wide quality standards and continuous improvement goals.

Work independently and autonomously, demonstrating responsibility for assigned tasks and adapting effectively to various work environments.

Identify, analyze, and resolve machine malfunctions, requesting support where necessary, and actively participating in root-cause analysis and problem-solving activities.

Prepare and submit accurate fault and incident reports in a timely manner.

Recommend and implement process improvements, contributing to optimization of work procedures and development of more efficient work steps.

Your Profile

Bachelor`s Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical or related fields in Engineering

A minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred

Willingness to travel extensively in Thailand, Malaysia, and overseas

Prior experience in working in multinational teams is preferred

Proficiency in Bahasa Melayu speaker and English
