Job summary

KLOSE INDUSTRIAL SERVICE SDN. BHD. is seeking a Field Service Technician/Engineer to install, commission and hand over machines at customer sites in Malaysia.

The role includes troubleshooting, basic PLC work and maintaining machinery, with administrative duties such as spare parts stock control and documentation. Travel nationally and internationally is required. A Diploma or higher in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics is essential, with a minimum of 5 years' field experience and willingness

• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot and handover of machines at customer site.
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain existing machinery at customer site.
• Basic PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Administrative tasks, such as stock keeping for spares, reporting, documentation, etc.

Qualifications & experience

Min. Diploma or higher in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics field

Min 5 years of relevant work experience as Field Service Technician / Engineer or similar

Tasks & responsibilities

Install, commission, troubleshoot and handover of machines at customer site

Troubleshoot, repair and maintain existing machinery at customer site

Basic PLC programming and troubleshooting

Administrative tasks, such as stock keeping for spares, reporting, documentation, etc.

Flexibility to support ad-hoc assignments, also at weekend, night, etc.

Ability to travel national and international for extended periods of time
